Okay, there was more dancing than invading... The comic book store Brave New World (just a couple blocks away from our beloved Canyon Theatre Guild) hosted a Zombie March. Volunteers and wanna-be zombies from all over the Valley gathered to participate in this merry-yet-macabre event. Make-up artists were on hand to ghoulify the crowd, and once everyone had transformed into the walking dead, they began moaning their way down Newhall's Main Street.
Fortunately all of the zombie were very well behaved. No reports of brain devouring. In fact, from this photo, it looks as though these Zombies were quite friendly:
Best of all, just before the zombies crossed the street to the Heritage Haunted House, the zombies were treated to the Canyon Theater Corpses as they danced to Michael Jackson's "Thriller." Choreographers Musette Caing and Jan Marie Reynolds joined with many other undead thespians. Their devilishly wonderful dancing would have made ol' MJ would be proud!
But if you missed the Zombie March last night, there is still much Halloween fun at the Canyon Theater Guild.
Phantom runs from now until Oct. 31st. Order your tickets for this fantastic musical today!
